The Crew will not enter this battle alone. At the heart of their mission is Captain Adonna, a seasoned Protector and commander of Search and Rescue. A formidable leader with years of experience confronting the Shadower threat, Adonna is entrusted with an extraordinary assignment: preparing four teenagers from the outside world for a battle they never knew existed.

With the assistance of her second-in-command, Apollos, a 23-year-old former Shadower, Adonna begins training the Crew for covert missions that take them through their school, their city, and beyond. As they face hidden dangers and unfamiliar challenges, the four friends must learn to work together, adapt quickly, and take responsibility for the choices they make.
